Kanpur: Rahul Dravid scored his 28th test century as India moved quickly to 535-4 on day two of the second test against Sri Lanka.

Resuming at first day's score of 417-2, India lost overnight batsmen Sachin Tendulkar (40) and Dravid, with V.V.S. Laxman unbeaten on 24 and Yuvraj Singh 13 not out at lunch.

Dravid, who was unbeaten 85 at stumps Tuesday, briskly scored the 15 runs required to complete his century. He added 96 runs for the third wicket with Tendulkar, who became the first batsman to fall on the second day when he miscued a shot against spin bowler Ajantha Mendis and was caught by Thilan Samaraweera at deep-midoff.
