Bishop Emeritus of Belgaum Ignatius Lobo Dies
New Delhi:- Most Rev. Ignatius Lobo, Bishop Emeritus of Belgaum, passed away at 6.45 a.m. Wednesday, 17 February, at Lourdes Hospital, Dharwad. Bishop Lobo was born in 1919, was ordained a priest in 1947 and was consecrated bishop in 1968. The funeral will be held in the Fatima Cathedral, Belgaum at 10.00 a.m. on Friday, 19th February 2010.
