SECOND FOUNDATION DAY CELEBRATION

OF UNITED WAYS OF VISION

United  Ways of Vision  celebrated its 2nd Foundation Day on 15th August 2009 by offering Mass at 6.30 p.m.. at St. Francis De Sales Church, Nallasopara (E).

This followed with a Welcome Dance by Baby Prinal Fernandes to greet the Guests & Audience.Fr. Agnelo Lawrence - Parish Priest, SFS Church, Fr. Robert Fernandes - Principal, SFS High School, Fr. Rosario Asst. Parish Priest, SFS Church, Mr. Steevan Fernandes - Hon. President,Vasai Konkani Association, Vasai, Mr. Ivan Rebello- Hon. Secretary, St. Peter's Association (Barkur) Mumbai, Mr. Donald D Souza- Hon. President, Mr. Joylan Fernandes -Hon. Secretary & Mr. Arun Pinto- Hon. Treasurer of United Ways of Vision were present on the Dias. Mr. Donald D Souza gave a warm welcome to all..

To Mark the Foundation Day, United Ways of Vision introduced three (3 ) orphan kids of 1st Standard by announcing to take care of their complete expenses towards, Education, Food & Accomodation  up to their 10 th standard. This memorable moment followed cake cutting by the same orphan kids. About 50 childrens joined them & shared their happiness with the orphans.

Mr. Joylan Fernandes read the report on activities of United Ways of Vision.

We felicitated  the six students of S.S.C.  &  H.S.C.  for excellency in academics.

Mr. Roshan Kotian who is participatating in the Sony TV Boogie Woogie show and Mr. Dixon D Souza for winning Gold Medals at state level athletic  meet were also Honoured for their achievements.

Chief guest Fr. Agnelo Lawrence announced the release of Appeal Letters for our forthcoming programme on 17 th October 2009, a Konkani Drama Called " Mhataro Chorbela " and said his prayers & support will always be there with us.

Fr. Robert Fernandes appreciated  the activities we are undertaking & wished us good luck.

Mr. Denis Fernandes Trustee of UWV presented the boquets as a token of our love to all guests, special invitees & President of various organisations of SFS church.

Mr. Roshan Kotian entertained  the audience by his dazzling dance performance on the stage..

Ms. Delicia Oliveira managed the entire programme. Mr. Alwyn D Souza thanked all for their presence & who are source of inspiration for our success.

Fr. Rosario offered the grace before meal. About 300 people enjoyed the family dinner, a delicious food prepared by the very members of the United Ways of Vision.
