Distribution of School Text Books at Nalasopara

Konkani Catholic Association, Nalasopara organised a Text Books distribution programme to deserving students on Sunday the 7th April 2009 at St. Francis D’Sales School Hall.

The Programme is organised under the presidentship of Mr. Harry Coutinho,. Chief Guest on the occasion was Mr. Pradeep Mane, Sr. Inspector of Police, Nalasopara, and the Guest of Honour was Mr. Ramakant Dalvi, Nalasopara Municipal Council, Vice President and Mr. Atmaram Patel, local councillor. Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza, principal, Rev. Fr. Agnel Lawrence, parish priest, and Rev. Fr. Sushan Ast. parish priest were also present on the dais.

About 500 Students have received books from the guests on behalf of organisors.

Among the office bearers present were Mr. Patric Freatas, Secretary; Mrs. Gracy Pinto, Vice president;  Olvin F. D’Souza, Treasurer, Mrs. Inez D’Souza, John Alva, Mrs. Leena Lobo, Clod D’Silva, Mrs. Lilly Quadros; Mrs. Leena Pereira; Richard Pereira, Richard D’Souza, Mrs. Voilet Moraes, Mrs. Mary Veigas and Mrs. Lavina Dias.
