SCC Rally

The Small Christian  of  Our Lady of  Fatima Church, Sewree, organized a Rally on Sunday, the 8th November 2009 at 6.00 pm. His Lordship Bishop Bosco Penha was the main celebrant at Mass  along with Fr. Frank Britto, Fr. Gonzalo  Pereira and  Deacon Alfred  D'Souza. In his sermon, His Lordship Bishop Bosco emphasized the  need of getting involved  in  helping the needy parishioners  through  the SSC. His Lordship made his point by saying that when we see the problems of others, our own problems get solved. His Lordship also appreciated the magninimous work of   Deacon Alfred D'Souza, George Andrsde and Preci Almeida. His  Lordship made it clear that the end of  the Eucharist should not be a mere conclusion of an act of worship, but the beginning of a mission of selfless service to our parishioners in need.

The end of the Eucharist also marked the beginning of  the Entertainment  Programme put up by the nine Zones of the Parish in the Pariah Hall the prayer song by the Angels and the duo  of  the little Pinto brothers was laudable; whereas the importance of  prayer in the family was skillfully  presented  by the Holy Family Zone in the One Act Play titled "L.I.C." i.e., Life in Complications.

The visit of His Lordship Bishop Bosco Penha touched a deep and emotional chord in the hearts of all the parishioners.
