Mangalore: Southern Railway, in order to clear extra rush of passengers will run a weekly summer special train from Nagercoil to Mangalore. A Southern Railway press release here stated train 0641 Nagercoil - Mangalore junction weekly express will leave Nagercoil at 8.15 pm on 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th April, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st of May and 7th June 2010 (all Mondays) to reach Mangalore junction at 11.45 am on the following day. In the return direction train 0642 will leave Mangalore junction at 4 pm on 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th April, 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th May, 1st and 8th June, 2010 (all Tuesdays) to reach Nagercoil at 7.50 am on the following day.

Southern Railway is also operating special train 0643/0644 Tiruchirappalli - Kochuveli Tiruchirappalli (weekly) express, 0645/0646 Tiruchirappalli - Kochuveli Tiruchirappalli (weekly express), 0634/0633 Kochuveli-Chennai Central-Kochuveli (weekly) express, train 0635/0636 Chennai Central-Kollam Chennai Central (weekly) express, train 0637/0638 Chennai Central -Ernakulam junction weekly super fast express as well as part of the summer special train package.
