The appointment of Archbishop Felix as Bishop of Vasai, his home diocese has not come as a surprise. However, Vasai's gain is Nasik's loss. Vasai has surely got a vibrant and zealous shepherd with a vision; who will bring and keep the flock together and lead them to green pasture. My heart at this important time goes to the faithful of Nasik Diocese who have to part with their leader. Archbishop Felix has contributed greatly in revitalizing, revamping and rejuvenating the Nasik Diocese. WhiIe I feel he is still needed in Nasik than Vasai which is comparatively an established diocese, I pray that May Nasik get a Bishop like his predecessor.
