R. S. Co-op Bank Ltd bags the Maharashtra Urban Co-op. Banks Federation's "Best Co-Operative Bank" Award.

The Maharashtra Co-op Banks Federation Limited in its 30th General Body Meeting held on 27th October, 2009 at Indian Sports Center at Wadala awarded the "Best Co-operative Bank of the Year" award to R. S. Co-operative Bank Ltd., Mumbai. Co-op Banks crossing a turnover of Rs 50 crores and above are honoured with this award each year.

Shri Anand Rao Adsul, Chairman of the Federation was the Chief Guest while Dr. Krishna Lavekar, Chief of the Federation presented the awards.  Smt. Shobhatai Sawant, Chief Convener and Hon Secretary Shri Aravind Desphande, Eknath Thakur, Gulabrao Shelke, Kailaschand Agarwal, Omprakash Deora, Damodar Mazgaonkar, Vidhyadhar Anaskar and others were on the Dias.

This all Maharashtra level Award goes to the R. S. Co-operative Bank for the third year in succession.   R. S.  Co-op Bank's Chairman Shri Sadanand D. Nayak and Director Shri Ramanand Nayak received the Award.

The R. S. Co-Operative Bank will opening its 5th branch at Kalyan in the near future. Due to the selfless service rendered by the Chairman, Shri Sadanand D. Nayak, The R. S. Co-operative Bank has received Awards like Maharashtra State Co-op Banks Association and others.
