Mumbai:- Children's Rural Sports & cultural festival 2010 organized by Chinnara Bimba a unit of 'Kala Jagattu' was inaugurated on 2^nd September 2010 at Vishveshwarayya Sabhagraha by Vishveshwara Hegde, Education Minister for Karnataka State.

Dr. J. D. Joshi, President, Karnataka Sangha presided over the function; Gopal C. Shetty, BJP MLA, Mumbai; Dr. G. N. Upadya, H.O.D, Kannada Dept., Mumbai University; C. A. Shanker, Co-Ordinator, International Kabaddi Federation, Maharashtra & Prof. Sitaram Shetty were the guest of honor for the day.
