The youth wing, the youth brigade of BSKB Association conducted the interschool competition, Youphoria 2010-11 on 29^th August 2010 at Ashraya, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.  This year Eight school participated along with  124 students. This yearly  event  is being organized for more than past two decades.

The program started at 9:30 AM with lighting of traditional lamp by the Hon. secretary Shri APK Potty. Mr Prashant , youth wing leader welcomed the audience. The competition began with Singing,  followed by  Elocution, Spellathon, Drawing, Quiz and Discover India competitions.

Audience were enjoying the program and  everyone got good applause.   It was nice to see  the enthusiasm among participating school cheering their students when walked towards the dais to give the performance. With 15+ participants in each event, it was a tough competition.

The most  prestigious  event was Discover India where students had to prepare a stall depicting a historical / cultural event   and  stage a  folk dance which represented the same.   The participating school in this  were : Udayachal High School, Presentation Convent School, SS High School and SIES school. The folk dances were rich in value and received  good untiring clapping along with "once more " comment.

The program ended at 5:30 PM with prize distribution and vote of thanks to all who have contributed to the success of this event. In his speech our Vice President,  Mr Laxmish Acharya appreciated  the quality of the participation and hoped that next time more school would come forward to participate. The best School trophy was won by Udayachal High School , Vikhroli.  This is 2^nd year in succession, they have received this award.
