Mulund Christian Ecumenical Fellowship Thanksgiving Service And Felicitation Programme

For the 5th consecutive year, The Central Mumbai Christian Fellowship felicitated about 152 successful HSC & SSC Christian Children of Eastern Suburbs and gifted each of them with a bag worth Rs. 500/- each irrespective of their percentage - whether its 94% plus or 49% or less...... while the 94% toppers got an additional prize of Rs. 5,000/- and 1st & 2nd runners up got Rs. 3,000/- & Rs. 2,000/- respectively on 28th Sept.2009 at in the reknown spacious Kalidas Auditorium packed with about 1,500/- well wishers.

The programme commenced with prayers, praise and worship to our Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Shelton Davidson shared the message from the Bible.

On the presentation dais was our St. Pius X Church Parish Priest Fr. William Athaide along with other Church Pastors and Eminent Personalities like our Member of Parliament Mr. Sanjay Dina Patil as Chief Guest, Mr. Charan Singh Sapra, MLC, Sardar Tara Singh, MLA, etc. etc. This is not the first time that we have the Eminent Personalizes of different National Parties along with different Churches Pastors for a Christian Cause...... all were there 'on a same podium' about a month and half earlier for the "work commencement" of prefabricated grave vaults at The Mulund Christian Cemetery, 'just' Praising Lord Jesus!

The congregation with many pastors prayed for the nation as the nation is facing many problems like the economy, draught, terrorism, swine flu, etc. Br. Jaimone Kuruvilla led the service Mr. Jude Fernandes did the student's felicitation.

All the dignitaries were presented momento's by the theme 'UNITY' Brother Joseph Reddy gave the vote of thanks. The programme was concluded with prayer and benediction by Pastor D.D. Tribhuvan, President, Central Mumbai Christian
Fellowship. Praise The Lord!!
