Immersion of Sri Durga Devi Idol at Dahisar
Dahisar, Mumbai, Oct 3: Saraswat Cultural Center, Dahisar celebrated the Navaratri Utsav with pomp and gaiety for the second year in succession with day long religious and cultural programmes and immersed the Idol of Shri Durga Devi on Monday.
This Utsav was started with the blessings of Sri Sri Sudhindra Swamiji of Kashi Matt under the able leadership of S. Manohar V. Kamath last year. Hundreds of devotees took part in the immersion procession which culminated at the lake near kandharpada with the immersion of the Sri Durga devi Idol.
