St. Pauls Catholic Association's 66th Fest Celebration

St.Paul Catholic Association celebrated its patron saint's annual feast on 20th September with great enthusiasim. Rev. Fr. Savio said the thanks giving Mass at Holy Name Cathedral at about 7.30 am after the Mass all the members of the Association along with its President Mr. Stany Fernandes met for the annual meeting in the hall. After the meeting the feast of Mother Mary was celebrated and blessed 'Novem' (corn) was distributed to all those present.

At about 11.30 am celebration of 66th anniversary feast programme started. Many senior and dedicated members who rendered their services for the Association in the past were present on the dais along with present President Mr. Stany Fernandes and Secretary Mr. Richard D'souza, Joint Secretary Mr. Roshan Fernandes.

Secretary Mr. Richard D'souza welcomed the gathering  and also compered the show. Mr. Valerian D'sa announced the names of the all donors and also released a souvenir on the occasion. He also honoured Mr. Sylvester Peris and Mr.Stany Fernandes who fought the court case and who worked for the renovation of the Association's Club/House. Along with them Mr.Michael Rodrigues, Mr.Maxim D'souza, Mr.Stevan D'Martis, Mr.Jeevan Lasrado, Mr.Everest Lobo and Mr. Wilfred Dias were also honoured with a memento for their services.

Honourable members Mr. Everest Lobo and Mr. Anthony Nazareth entertained the gathering with their lively preformance they were also entertained with a konkani movie "Padri" the programme in ended with a sumptuous lunch cooked by the members.
