Governor Jamir greets people on ‘Vijayadashami’
The Governor of Maharashtra and Gujarat S. C. Jamir has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami also celebrated as Dassera. In his message, the Mr Jamir has said:
"Dassera is one of the most important festivals of India that celebrates the triumph of truth and ethics over evil. The festival reaffirms our faith in eternal values in our lives. I convey my heartiest greetings and good wishes to the people on the joyous occasion of Dassera and I do hope that the festival will usher in peace, prosperity and happiness for all."
