The Hathibaug Cross Re-Erected.  CSF assures others to follow

Even as the chief minister announced a committee to study the demolition of Crosses issue, the residents of Hathibaug re-erected the Cross that was demolished a few days back. At the Reparation Service conducted by Fr. Anthony Charanghat and Fr. Rocky Banz is also seen Dr. A. Mathai, vice-chairman, Maharashtra Minorities Commission and others who have been acive on the Protect Crosses initiative. Dr. Mathai said that since there was no need so far to keep legal documents, therefore  evidences other than legal documents need to be considered to establish how old a particular cross is.
