Celebration of the feast of St. John Berchmans at Anubhav, Mira Road

St. John Berchmans Patron Saint of Altar Servers, Pray for us

Mira Road:- The feast of St. John Berchmans was celebrated by Altar Servers with all pomp and glory on Aug 28th evening at Anubhav. Rev. Fr. Michael presided over the Eucharistic celebration and preached a fitting homily to the little children and invited them to be optimistic in their outlook. Spiritual Director Fr. Ivan D'Souza concelebrated for the mass in which 75 altar servers were present. The Children's Choir, under the able guidance of Fr. Ivan and well animated by Bros. Kaushik and Nitesh as well as Steevan and Sylvia made the celebration more graceful and meaningful. After the Eucharist there was a short cultural programme. Fr. Ivan through the help of a power point presentation unfolded the heroic personality of St. John Berchman. Later the children entertained everyone with a variety of cultural programs like songs and skits. It was followed by prize distribution. The programme concluded with the Altar server's anthem followed by snacks.
