Governor Sankaranarayanan releases 'Kerala in Mumbai'

Mumbai:- The Governor of Maharashtra K. Sankaranarayanan on Saturday (6th Feb) released the first copy of a newly launched magazine 'KERALA IN MUMBAI' at a function held at Nehru Centre in Mumbai. Mumbai has an estimated 1.5 million Keralites residing in the city for the last many decades. The English magazine 'Kerala in Mumbai' has been brought out with the objective of reaching out to the second and third generation of Keralities living in Mumbai, many of whom are losing touch with Malayalam. According to Vijay Kumar, the magazine seeks to inform this generation of the rich cultural heritage of Kerala, festivals, theatre, cuisine, language and literature of Kerala.
