Mumbai:- children and teachers of ryan global school have a strong feeling that as responsible citizens of the society, they should contribute themselves and their services to the welfare of the under-priviledged special children.

The children and staff of Ryan Global School spent their morning session at "Bal Bhavan" and "Jeevan Asha" in Mumbai. Recitation of prayers and prayer songs marked the beginning of the session. Thereafter, the children were taught a few breathing and yoga techniques followed by our music teacher playing some wonderful tunes to which all the children along with our students danced with their hearts out. The children were taught how to make a pen stand with recyclable materials like paper cups and ice cream sticks. It was followed by a newspaper dance game, which the children enjoyed so much, that it filled the entire room with their laughter. The sheer joy, happiness on the children's face and a yearning for learning was the 'Moment of the Day'.

The Ryan Global students and their educators then visited "Jeevan Asha", the home for the aged, which is in the same facility. The recitation of prayers and prayer song brought smiles on the faces of all the residents. The students interacted with the elderly and shared their thought with them. The enthusiasm in the elderly people could be experienced through their participation in the game, which was organized for them and later when they requested songs of their choice to be played and sung, to which everyone merrily joined in including all the children and teachers.

The children and educators of Ryan Global School made an effort to contribute to the society in a small way which in turn helped them to understand the concept of caring, sharing, respecting the elders and being responsible towards their work. The children of RGS expressed their desire to revisit these children and the elderly.

"Today was a very important moment for the Ryan Global Students as they got an opportunity to connect with these special children at "Bal Bhavan" and the elders at "Jeevan Asha".
