New Year Celebration at St. Joseph's Church, Mira Road

The New Year was celebrated with devotion at St. Joseph's Church, Mira Road on Thursday December 31. At the beginning we adored and thanked the lord for all his blessings and asked his strength and graces for the New Year 2010. The concelebrated mass was presided over by Arch Bishop's Secretary, Rev. Fr. Neil de Santos, and priest of the community. On the eve of this New Year he preached a very inspiring homily and he invited the parishioners to have a vision and a dream. More than five thousand participated in the Eucharistic Celebration.

At the end Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Dominic Vas greeted one and all and wished a very prosperous new year in the name of parish team. Soon after the mass parishioners cheerfully greeted one another and wished everyone a grace filled New Year - 2010.
